Introduction

TAO OF MOON is a creative label that combines "Tao" from Lao Tzu's Taoism with "Moon," which is derived from the martial arts name "Jingyue" of its founder, TATSUKI ROCKWILD.
The "Tao" referred to here is the philosophy of Lao Tzu that leads to the origin of all things, the never-ending path of training in martial arts, and the spirit of transcending form to reach the essence, as demonstrated by Bruce Lee in "TAO OF JEET KUNE DO."
The physical philosophy, spirituality, and principles that flow through traditional Japanese iaido, kenjutsu, jujutsu, and Chinese martial arts.
Furthermore, the organizer, TATSUKI ROCKWILD, is one of those who were mentored by action actor Kenji Ohba, known for films such as "KILL BILL" and "Space Sheriff Gavan," and therefore holds deep respect for the physicality, sword fighting, and spirit of action in visual expression.
The world of TAO OF MOON also embodies a deep respect for wolves.
Seton's "The Chivalry of Wolves" depicts the noble way of life of wolves who risk their lives to protect their pack.
Their integrity, pride, dedication, and solitary spirit form a part of the aesthetic sensibility that TAO OF MOON upholds.
Since ancient times, the moon and wolves have been spoken of as beings with a mystical connection.
A wolf howling in the moonlight symbolizes solitude and freedom, wildness and spirituality, protection and battle.
In Native American folklore, wolves have been portrayed as symbols of wisdom, loyalty, guidance, and the spirit of protecting the community.
And the moon is not just a celestial body that illuminates the night.
In the world of Western magic, the moon has been believed to be a symbol of intuition, transformation, illusion, hidden power, and the mystery that works on the depths of the soul.
TAO OF MOON's expression is imbued with a sense of fantasy and spiritual beauty that resonates with the magic of the moon itself.
The Way is a discipline for refining oneself.
The moon is a mysterious light that illuminates the darkness.
The wolf is a symbol of solitude, embodying pride and a spirit of protection.
Action is an art form that expresses the soul through the body.
TAO OF MOON fuses Eastern philosophy, martial arts spirit, the chivalry of wolves, the mysteries of the moon, Western magical fantasy, and the aesthetics of visual action to create a unique artistic world where stillness and movement, wildness and spirituality, tradition and the future intersect through music, visuals, storytelling, and design.
